TEFBadassery 2025

Badassery 2025 built off of the original TEFBadassery which was staged in 2018. Through a cast of characters meeting in a bar to hide an explosive file, the show told stories of Kenya’s criminal world and highlighted the likes of Danson Gachui, Wakinyonga and the controversial P.D. Shaw who was a police reservist. It was told amid nationwide protests against police brutality and did not shy away from painting the picture of how bleak the justice system has been since time immemorial.

Badassery 2025 was staged at the Jain Bhavan Auditorium to an audience of about 2800 people over three days. The show was directed by Wanjiku Mwawuganga and Produced by Gathoni Kimuyu
