When we are kids
We behave like it
We harvest both plants and weeds
And we are proud of it
When we are kids
We look to the big
To gift and praise our deeds
But warnings, No! we’re big
When we are kids
We follow the wind
For we all behave like light reeds
Content to flow with the common wind
When we are kids
We see beauty
We worship what the eye kids
We cant experience beauty
When we are kids
Fun is in our mind
The bible’s full of creeds
And we with fun it binds
When we are kids
We hope and dream and wish
Sometimes the future bleeds
But we enjoy the pull pool like fish
