She was just “by the way”
Between “either way” and “anyway”
She didn’t know which WAY to follow
In fact She had no “otherwise” nor “furthermore “
But She Fathers more motherless children
She’s a chicken,
Yes, not because she’s weak,
But because She knows how to protect her chick
From the talons of the cruel hawk,
She’s a chicken,
Coz she knows how to provide even though She’s broke
She’s a chicken,
Coz She knows how to cease fire and leave no smoke,
Now She places her palm on her heart,
And auush!! She breathes in so deep
She cooks, She cleans,She sweeps
She cries, She screams, She weeps
She kisses her kitchen goodnight before She sleeps
If She is a She not a He, then
She should be treated like a She not a heathen
If God was a She not a He then
The anthem of this planet would be
WHO RUN THE WORLD,
GIRLS
She gals, like those other girls,
She’s girly, but She doesn’t gully- creep
Coz she’s a copy Cat, She Cat walks, She Cat fights
And sometimes she dresses so Catastrophic.
She’s Delilah, She’s Cleopatra, She’s Eve
Coz She deceives, her brain receives
what her belly can’t conceive, it’s more than life.
So understanding her is still a mystery and,
Knowing her is another history
Since the first day of creation, when She convinced man to eat from HIS tree
She’s confident, She’s brilliant, She’s compassionate
She’s grateful, She screams, She yells, like hell
Like duck,She quacks, like whales, She wails
Like manna She quails
She embraces pain, her soft lips, kisses hardships
She worships, gossips, and say it’s healthy.
Love is on her fingertips, ready to apply it like gloss on her lips
Yes,
She’s physically weak, but emotionally
She can feed the stomach of your brain for a week.
She’s someone’s beautiful daughter but someone’s punching bag.
ADAM, would be a MAD MAN, if God couldn’t have provided him with a MADDAM
Who is now facing his MAD ARM, Ruthlessly and Mercilessly
She has this beautiful and powerful tone in her voice
She has an admiring smile whenever she rejoice
She’s stubborn, She’s noisy, She’s nagging and now She’s silent.
If She is a She not a He, then,
She should be treated like a She not a heathen
If God was a She not a He then, the anthem of this planet would be
WHO RUN THE WORLD,
GIRLS
She’s a slave, but She’s very brave
Now She’s sitting at her own grave
Shedding lonely black tears
She’s the reminder of the ugly dark years
When apartheid was the ugly voice In every black ears
She’s still in those days when freedom of speech was locked up
Behind bars facing life imprisonment
She’s still in those days when
Used bullets were the only flowers in our environment
She’s still in those centuries of good byes/
Still waving and saying R.I.Ps in those cemeteries of good guys
Truth was the only key to set her free but it got lost
And there is no other ways to open this rooms of justice and freedom.
Freedom to speak and express what was in her heart,
Freedom to be what She was meant to be though it did hurt
She’s the BONES and SKULLS, She’s the remains of the genocides in Rwanda
She’s the rape case of Amin in Uganda
She’s the fallen who rose from a pool of blood
She’s the homelessness whose home was washed away by political flood
But She was still glad
But She was still able to smile
And She consoled herself, she says
I won’t cry, I won’t cry no; I won’t shed a tear
With tears on her face she says,
I will try coz I know that judgment is near
And finally when sword of justice is here
Slavery, injustices, inequality will be beheaded.
If She is a She not a He, then
She should be treated like a She not a heathen
If God was a She not a He then, the anthem of this planet would be
WHO RUN THE WORLD,
GIRLS
She’s strong, She’s the pillar of the universe
She is who She is
SHE IS A WOMAN
